The Healing Powers of Hawaiian Waters

Pu'ala'a or The Warm Pond, a spring and ocean fed pool with a man-made wall and an inlet separating it from the ocean. Pele needs warmth, so in a 1960 Kapoho eruption the lava plumbing created this volcano heated pool to a toasty 90 degrees.
The locals and our participants always enjoy a relaxing swim in these warm waters.

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach - Small groups of sea turtles frequent this picturesque black sand beach.

Kahena Beach, this beautiful clothing optional beach, near the retreat center, Kalani Honua, is also frequented by dolphin pods.

Kealakekua Bay, great snorkeling and home for a pod of spinner dolphins.
